Big kid team was down 4 kids and 2 coaches yesterday (who were all at a soccer tournament) against a full team (10 players & 3 coaches) and won 35-8.

Quality > quantity. Great cardio helps.

That just missed us. Don't know if we would have been able to play on Saturday if we had gotten that rain Friday evening.

They should have been able to find a couple players from other teams or brought up kids from the younger division to play. I've played two games this season with younger kids just to get enough kids on the field.

As long as you can field 5 players at a time the roster qualifies. They just had to play a lot of iron man.

We have to have 8 on the field, but we can bring up kids from younger divisions.

I gave up coaching some years ago becuse the kids parents were assholes. One woman would always drop her kid off at the start of baseball practice, and the kid always had to go take a dump. So I had to drive him to the local library every time. One time, when I got back to the practice field, one of the parents asked,"why are you always going off with that child?" That did it for me. Fuck your kids. Find someone else for free daycare.
 
went to get an oil change at lunch and the place just does car washes now. seems like a waste of a building to have 10 empty bays, but what do I know.

Our baseball fields have toilets, so I don't have to worry about that. I am pretty clear about that with soccer, though. We don't have toilet access and I'm not responsible for your kid shitting his or her pants.
