So everyone is pointing to October 1st for firing Frost. What if Frost is suspended with pay for the rest of the month for non performance? Just a thought on the inevitable.

No need to set a precedent.

He should do the right thing and negotiate his resignation.
 
What happens if they beat OK next week ???

I think the first thing that needs to be done this week is fire the D coordinator.

Scott Frost, who took over as head coach for the Nebraska football team during the 2018 season, has been fired, according to a statement by Athletic Director Trev Alberts.

Do we just pack it in and call it a season?

I doubt that things could get any worse. I am confident that the offense can score, but if the defense were to force a punt I'd probably fall out of my recliner.

Would be great to see things pull together and put up a few wins.

No idea, but your frost could go 3-1 for the next 4 games after the last one were wrong. I WIN!!! (but we all lose :( )

It won't matter who is calling the defense. They don't have the players needed to be competitive on that side of the ball. Way too many misses on the recruiting trail.

There was zero accountability on Scott Frost’s team. For example, Reimers should of had his ass on the bench along with whiffing Farmer and Hill. Trev said Mickey will need to address the problems on defense, but we all know Chins has to go. According to Sipple today, the players are firmly behind Micky as head coach. He will be harder on the team as a whole and demand more from them and I see nothing wrong with that. As far as not having the right defensive players goes I think that they would have been fine if the guys had correctly read their keys and not just done their own thing on defense. Perhaps the scheme was bad or not but I hope it gets solved both in the film room and in practice.

Mickey Joseph will not sugar coat things and has been “real” with his receivers. Xavier Betts needed coddling but MJ didn’t play that game.
