Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

So far so good.

My mom had breast cancer back when I was in grade school or middle school. And she was adamant that it would not beat her and I will swear on everything holy that a big part of her success was her attitude. She made sure to laugh as often as possible every single day.

Mental attitude is just as important as the medicine IMO.

I agree, it is so easy to get down on cancer. The biggest worry I have is it seems you are just waiting for it to come back. Can't dwell on that negative, have to think positive. The wife has a good team of Doctors so we are hopefully, her surgery to remove (partial nephrectomy) was early February last year so we are a bit more than a year into this and she is cancer free at this time.

Kid has plenty of potential, but needs to finish at the rim. Lost count of how many shots were missed within 2 feet of the basket. That goes for the entire team as well.

I really don't like this transfer portal set up at all. Way to easy for kids to quit on their team, it is a "me" thing for sure.

I get it, but coaches do the exact same thing. Recruit a kid to their school and then bail on them for a better, higher paying gig and hopefully a better opportunity.

Rumor circulating that Mo Washington is back in town. What are the takes on this?

I don't mind it. I actually think giving him a second chance is good for Washington and good for the program.

I he can be part of a team, not be a distraction and add value, why not.
