Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

Watching “Luke” QB Rice vs Houston, he still grossly under-throws the ball and the announcers said Rice doesn’t trust to him to pass more because they keep slamming the ball into the middle of the line out of futility.

BULLET DODGED

Oh and I like Smothers much better as a QB.

yea, i said it somewhere. i just want to see SF have another QB. he got Milton at UCF which worked perfectly in his system. then went with AM here and has been basically stuck with him. not that are offensive problems can be solely tied to AM, the team needs to stop shooting itself in the foot and the OL needs to block better. RBs could do better as well, lack of vision sometimes, at least that's what it appears to my untrained eye.

I'm just sick of leaving points out there and those hidden points are what have this team below where they should be.

I’ll gladly take the win. But our offensive line is atrocious and will get embarrassed against OU.

Yep,oline and special teams are awful. I mean we knew we would get our shit pushed in by Oklahoma before season started

I thought the O'line had a lot a starters back from last year and was supposed to be a strength?? Or is it they did return a lot from last year, but they just are not very good??

I think they had to replace 3 starters.
I don't know what the hell Greg Austin is getting paid to do. Those kids up front are not bad players. Their frequent brain farts and loss of technique from play to play is strictly on him.
There are times when they clearly have no idea what they are /were supposed to do on a play.

It really shows on running plays where the line just cannot move a feather.

this. young guys too. Depending on how you look at eligibility with the extra year, we are starting Fr/RFr/SO/JR/RFr (per their class in the depth chart released for OU game). Another things that speaks to me is how Farniok made the Cowboys roster as a Center.

I've never laid $ against huskers, but thinking this Saturday is the day to do, OU -22.5. I'm thinking good bet??

How many skill players on offense will we be without on Saturday? Read an article today that mentioned 5 I think. Who?

About as good as a showing as we could have asked for. If the offense stops shooting itself in the leg, I feel like they are starting to find it. Need the OL to do a better job all around. D played good, needed to stop that last drive sooner but otherwise liked the performance.
