Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

Guys I haven’t been on here much as of late. This week we lost a big fan of Husker Football. Today we buried my brother. He and I traveled to many Husker Football and basketball games both home and away. If you’re drinking please raise a glass and toast him for me. GO BIG RED!!!
I’m sorry for your loss.

My condolences to you and your family..

:beer2:

Huskers beat Northwestern tonight and lay an egg against Michigan next week.

Wash, Rinse, Repeat
i hope they finally turned that corner at least. good games at least defensively against OU/MSU/NW, technically they played good defense in the first three games too, but turned it up even more. Offense, hopefully have finally figured it out up front, i am keeping expectations tempered because NW looked like crap on defense but the OL certainly seemed like they were doing a much better job.

Yeah. One complete game in 6. We've been here before.
Some of my friends are pouring the Kool-Aid with an extra cup of sugar.
Not me.
They put 54 pts on Maryland in 2019, 53 pts on Minnesota in 2018, 54 pts on Illinois in 2018.

Those were also "finally turned the corner" games, until they came out and laid an egg the following week, and reverted back to tripping over their dicks week-in and week-out on their way to (4-8) or (5-7).

This team squanders success when praised. They need relentless criticism from the fans and media to be motivated.

It seems (at least to me) that Frost went out of his way to temper excitement from the media.

He should, but they'll be pouring the Kool Aid all week regardless.

Did anyone see the quick 2-3 second exchange between Alberts and Frost by the tunnel after the game?

That was the first time I've really had fun watching a Husker game in I don't know how long. It reminded me of what it used to feel like, and how it should feel like. But like many, I'm not getting overly excited just yet. Northwestern looked like shit and until Nebraska can string together a winning streak, I will be in wait and see mode.

Have you heard this radio call yet?

And Brewington scored on this play in the Fordham game. Came down the line the same way, ran past the edge guy he typically blocks and Adrian flipped it to him. I love this play!!!

Missed most of the game because of the wedding. I did see us not go for 3 pts in the 1st quarter. Frost said in the post-game presser that he didn’t feel we could win with field goals. Well I’ll be damned if Michigan won tonight kicking field goals. Sometimes you just got to shake your head and throw your arms up when Frost says absolutely stupid shit!

Dumb Blonde moment is all I can think of at this time ??
