Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

Whipple and Raiola. Still need RB coach, so unless some more shuffling, doesn't look like we'll have an ST coach.

Husker Volleyball took down #2 Texas 3-1 in Austin. It’s been about 2 years since Texas lost at home.

That was a great match to watch. Those freshmen played great. The future looks bright for Coach Cook and his program.

Jurgens declared for NFL draft. AM is gone. top WR is gone, top TE will get drafted. yet, i'm optimistic offense will be better next year. is that drinking the koolaid? experience OC to make in game adjustments, experienced WR coach to get these WRs NFL ready and also assist in the in game adjustments. New OL coach, i thought the OL looked better the last 2 games of the season than it had all year, although still a lot of work to do in obvious passing situations. they still haven't decided on RB coach, curious if Beckton could move there and hire the full time ST coach. Just seems like Beckton needs his hand in more than just the TEs.

I don't know what advisors/draft experts are telling Jurgens, but i'd be really surprised if he goes higher than 6th round. I'd literally bet on it. 2020 and 2021 only had 8 centers taken each year. i'm not trying to be selfish and just improve our OL for next year, just seems like he'd be one of the top centers/OL in the whole country with one more year and probably jump into the top 3 rounds or so where those type of linemen go.

Jurgens declaring surprised me. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes undrafted. His athleticism might get some interest from teams but I think coming back and getting one more year, especially from new a O-line coach with NFL experience would help move him up the draft board a bit. Best of luck to him. Will be interesting to see what the revamped O-line looks like next year.

Martinez goes to Kansas State. Good luck there, they may not be that bad next year.

Yea, just saw that. I hope he does well. They don't play a lot of defense in Big 12 and a lot worse teams then the Big ten, like Kansas and Texas.

Seems like this is what SF has been waiting on. Speculation is Dawson moves back to DL coach, then Frost gets an ST and RB coach, Busch and Brown? I'd prefer they hire someone else for RB coach, would just seem better for the whole offense to try and start over and have another fresh perspective.

Crap

this seems like a good get. multi-year starter at OkSt. 2nd O-line guy coming in and will hopefully help push the OL back into respectability.

i wasn't 100% correct about multi-year starter. he didn't start this year, backup and played a heavy TE in packages, but was starter in 2020 for 1st game but got injured and missed most of season. Had 4 starts in 2019.
