The one Candy/Cake you have to have at Christmas

I hereby bequeath my entire allotment of anything containing coconut to you.
He can have mine, too.

I’ll be taking bites from the See’s Candies box of Nuts & Chews, hate the cherry cordials so the husker boys can have ‘em!
Their peanut brittle is awesome, too.

Someone I know gave me a container of waffle cookies like this last year. I'd never had them before and I can't remember if they were Italian treat or whatever ethnicity, but they were covered with a dusting of confectionery sugar and they were so fuggin good. Talk about making a mess when you take a bite though, that sugar was flying all over the place.

Yummy.

My mum used to make this chocolate treat for the holidays that consisted of light and dark chocolate melted and then she would poke a couple of holes in a bag of "Wise" potato chips and take a rolling pin to it. When the bag of chips was rendered into tiny little bits it got mixed with the chocolate, spread out on a cookie sheet and chilled in the fridge. Long before salt and chocolate became big in the snack business my cousins and I were fighting over this simple concoction. Gotta be original "Wise" potato chips though which makes it tough because I believe that what was once a New England brand is still a regional/east coast brand now that Borden Foods owns the name.
