One of the "targeting" calls on the final drive was because one of our players forearms whacked the Stanford QB. QB didnt even fall down. He barely got touched. Targeting!?!?? Or was it roughing the passer? I cant remember now, regardless it was a stupid call. Sure why the hell not. Refs backs are probably hurting today from carrying Stanford on that final drive.

Just so we are clear, your player hit the QB in the head? That is text book targeting. The bar isn’t that the QB has to be concussed in order for it to be targeting.

Oregon is getting too good, so now the California schools are using underhanded tactics to try to slow Oregon down. They don't care about the Pac, they just care about preserving their sick and perverted Californian lifestyle

The last targeting or roughing the passer call, AFTER they ejected KT, was a forearm hitting the QB and he hardly moved. Sure 15 yards, good for them.

I’ve seen that a couple times this year now. Don’t know if it’s a new rule or what, it’s for sure stupid, but it’s clearly the rule, so it’s not a bad call.
