Mrs and I went to see it last night. It was equally powerful and disturbing. But for what its worth I would highly recommend this.

The star is a right-winger, who is buddies with some QAnon conspiracy guys. QAnon has a persistent theme of an underground child sex slavery. So whether or not it's a true story, whether or not it's strong material, there's a group of people on the Left who have decided to hate it.I haven’t seen it, so I dont know how “political” it gets, but on the surface, I don’t understand why there is so much controversy over it’s existence.
In spite of the subject matter I would not call it a downer flick. There are actually some really uplifting partsThe star is a right-winger, who is buddies with some QAnon conspiracy guys. It doesn't seem like a movie I'd enjoy. Equal parts 'Tears of the Sun' and '8mm' make for kind of a downer flick.
Because the Bidenites don't want more scrutiny about the border. Trafficking in this country is has fast tracked because of the border, or lack thereofI haven’t seen it, so I dont know how “political” it gets, but on the surface, I don’t understand why there is so much controversy over it’s existence.
Cuz Trump broke them.I haven’t seen it, so I dont know how “political” it gets, but on the surface, I don’t understand why there is so much controversy over it’s existence.

It's a hallmark of the all politics to rinse and repeat, ad nauseum, until everyone is sick and tired of the same messaging. For the Left, they'll never allow themselves to forget that Trump was a womanizer, that Q Anon had unfounded conspiracies about Democrats fucking kids in pizza parlor basements or that some Republican tried to gerrymander. It'll get beaten into all of their heads repeatedly, and 5x as much around election time.this...
the left is sick of hearing about this mythical Q guy who has been proven wrong and wrong again. to have a star of the movie associated with that group leads people to distrust what is being said in the movie.
Sadly, I think we're going in the other direction. More kids are being trafficked, and less enforcement is being done because so much of it is tied up in illegal immigration, victimization politics and defund-the-police election tactics. There's a really creepy mission to decriminalize child porn and even pedophilia at the extremes, which is getting more popular by day, and can only ever have a greater impact on child trafficking also. Its too bad that we can't discuss this without trying to make everything political. The fact is that in 2021 missing children have decreased about 30% from 2020. You also have to ask what did the pandemic do to the numbers as well.
that said. anyone caught messing or trafficking kids needs to have their dick cut off and thrown in prison for life. dont give a shit who it is.
