The worst kind of college football fan?

The ones who talk trash when things are good then suddenly disappear when they're not so good.

Meh. Bowl games used to be a thing of honor for an excellent season. Sort of a reward. That all died when .500 teams or in some cases sub .500 teams qualified for them.

No one really gives a shit about the third place MAC team’s bowl tie-in.

Doesn’t mean I won’t watch but I certainly wouldn’t cry if they cut the number of bowls by even 1/2.
 
The ones who brag about how much money their school/conference brings in. As if they receive the money themselves.

Art Briles turned Baylor into an offensive juggernaut.

He won’t be fired. We’ll be the 2nd-5th best team in the SEC for 15 years. Mark Richt lasted about 4 seasons too long too. Just because we won’t doesn’t mean we shouldn’t

Braves held on to Bobby Cox and Fredi Gonzalez too long

Falcons held on to Dan Quinn and Mike Smith too long.

All Georgia sports teams are too loyal to their coaches

i think any bowl that can't be played by a team with a .500 or better record should be scrapped. I wasn't raised to reward people/teams for simply existing.

I’ll never understand wanting less football, and even less wanting to ruin it for those that do enjoy them when you’re not forced to watch

To me it takes away the prestige of playing in a bowl game. If everyone makes one, who the hell cares if you did? It means less, you didn't accomplish anything because everyone who wants a bowl game can have one.

There’s only 3 bowls that mean anything. The semis and the final. The rest are all meaningless, but they’re football. Calling for less football is shitty when you can simply not watch
