I still believe the Eagles & the packers had some kind of bet on the whole watch this when we draft a QB way to early thing when they had QBs that cost them over 100 mil each.

That's not good reasoning. They took him in the 1st bc they thought he would be the franchise guy in 3-4 years.
 
I think everyone and their mom thought that was a huge reach and they should have went WR or defense but it's been one year...you aren't giving much faith in your front office after trading a guy that didn't take a single snap and the whole reason you picked him is bc of his potential in 3-4 years. Doesn't make Rodgers feel any better about this team, they could have picked Tee Higgins who I thought they would pick.

Evidently, they made a mistake and recent reports indicate he hasn't looked good in practice. If he couldn't win the backup job behind Rodgers that doesn't bode well for him.

Higgins would have been a no-brainer but the scouting dept dropped the ball. I believe there will be changes in the Packers' front office after last year's draft debacle.
 
If the 49ers are smart, they'll offer their next five first round picks for Rodgers. Their window is probably only a couple more years
