We'll see how long it keeps my daughter's attention, and I hope it keeps my son entertained until he's that age. If my daughter's still using it when she's nine, we're hoping we can get 8 years out of it. When it's done, it's getting taken apart and going in the trash.

When we moved, the youngest was 7 and the middle one was 9. The youngest still used it a little, the middle one less so. Now, they’re both really into gymnastics and have no interest at all in play structures (although they occasionally will walk over to the park by our house).

My daughter is seven, and she's all into it because it's new. But she was still using the metal swing set this summer until I sold that, so we're hoping that this keeps her interest for a couple more years.

I need to power wash ours. I wouldn't play on it if I was my kids either.
