Thursday’s Congrats to Gatorchip Thread. Sponsored by Toyota RAV4 Prime

This took me 5 minutes. Reminded me of Black Rock, a restaurant here in Detroit. Your steak is cooked at your table on this ultra hot black rock. Apparently they keep the rocks heated. You throw your steak on it and it immediately sizzles up. I pre heated my skillet and got a similar result. Pretty cool.

Reminds me of a Chinese restaurant I went many years ago. The stir fry was prepared that way. Still do it that way on the griddle.

He cooks better than you, that's for sure.
"medium rare"

hahahahahaa

his wife should have mocked him relentlessly over how overcooked those steaks are.

maybe he needs to pull a @DJ and let her cook them

DJ can't cook either. He's too ashy.

Another reason you’ll be single forever. Zero game.

Pro tip: Engaging in women’s activities like riding stationary bikes, playing tennis and going to their spa won’t get you laid. It’s just makes them think you’re gay.

But please, continue.

did your wife choke down that overcooked piece of meat?

I bet she is so embarrassed.

not for nothing, but your picture does look medium well at the least. as long as you enjoyed it, what does it matter?
I'm just trying to help him

he isn't good at taking constructive criticism.

It was pink before I let it sit for 10 minutes. Took me 5 minutes so I can’t imagine what a rare would take. 3 minutes?

Either way it was awesome.

drunken noodles is the main thing i do that's essentially stir fry. takes a minute to get everything ready to dump in the pan, but those noodles needed to soak first anyway, all times out nicely in the end.
