Tiger Woods.. you dead or alive??

And Tiger had more wins than Jack. 8 more tour wins....and he did most of that damage in a little over a decade.

That is insane. Incredible....best PRIME ever, no one can dispute that. Some could call him the best golfer ever and wouldn't dispute it bc his prime was so dominant.

could argue it all day.

I think putting them both in the top 2 is the best course of action.

Sooooo not a golf fan?
Oh, no, you got me wrong. I like golf.

Know this from experience with my daughter.....tib-fib can be MUCH more complicated on recovery and going forward than femur.

She had both from a car accident. The femurs were fully shored up with rods. A lot of scar tissue to work through, but rehab helped that a lot. Both Tibias also have little rods and the ankle to foot still gives her issues.

Also potential, but often lost in the noise when leg bones are crushed is foot breaks. Foot breaks can be a real pain in the ass to ever recover well from.

Certainly big question marks on ever walking a course or having a smooth swing ever again. I’ll be shocked if his golfing at any competitive level is ever a thing again.
Well, I won't tell you about my own experience with a rich bitch in a Mercedes SUV hitting my Softtail Deluxe on an open highway and pretty much temporarily destroying my left femur.
Instead, ask Kendrys Morales how long it takes to recover from a compound femur fracture versus a compound tib-fib.

Fair enough. Everyone has different experiences. With my daughter the closest thing to compound was one knee was opened from the femur break, but none of her bones were sticking out. That surely makes a big difference

You just described MJ in a nutshell. "Nope, he was just a hard ass"

Michael? Michael Jordan? The guy who perfected the move of driving his ass in a defender's nutsack so he could draw 8-9 fouls every game? Yeah, he is a saint, except that time when he got his father killed because he refused to pay off a gambling debt.

I hope your daughter had good surgeons and recovered well. I really don't know how good my surgeons were when compared to others and given the extent of my injuries. The end result is a left leg that is fully healed, but also with rods from my hip to my ankle and about 1.15" shorter than the right leg. But I can even that out with a lift in my left shoe. I can still walk, climb, row, swim and ride as well as before, so I have no complaints. I hope your daughter came out as well as I did.

She honestly came out better. Holy shit man! She was 16, so she had youth on her side (I’m assuming you were older than 16). And it sounds like hers was not as bad. Both femurs were shattered, but not compound. Both tibias were crushed at the ankle. Two foot and three pelvis fractures, but those didn’t require surgical intervention. Also a clavicle that was in 2-3 pieces due to the seatbelt.

Yes, we just lucked out that we had one of the best ortho surgeons in Florida. He had a rod in both femurs and tibias and well as the clavicle strap in less than 90 minutes. And it was solid work.

It was amazing to see the X-rays the next few months of how her femur reformed around the rod. There was even a chunk of bone that was a few inches off the femur mass that got pulled back in and smoothed over. The body is amazing.

Ironic to the Tiger news I had a memory on FB today from three years ago. Her first jaunt out into town after 8 weeks of being laid up. She is solid now. Can do all the things as before. Only lingering thing is her feet can hurt after being on them long periods. Jones fractures that might not have resolved perfectly on their own.

I’m glad to hear you can overcome the misalignment and still do all the things. That is so crucial to quality of life!

Yeah that's pretty much the commentary I would expect from a Tiger fan boy.

That you think the competition Tiger faced was stiffer than what Jack Nicklaus faced in the prime of his career tells me that you don't know much about golf pre-Eldrick.
Tiger's prime was insane and probably something we'll never see again. With that said, the competition during those years was comically bad. The competition Nicklaus faced during his prime was far tougher.
