Just to remind all of my breathren that King was a UW Husky. CB U is what I am told.

Only objection I would make is the position he plays. LB isn't nearly as valuable in the NFL today. Using that pick on an edge rusher, corner, or safety is the best value add on defense.

That said, the kid is a freakish athlete and Dallas needs help on every level of their Defense so it's not a bad pick.
 
I can't believe Erik Stokes went in round one but Azeez Ojulari didn't. Would have lost money on that one if

I don't like MLB's in the first round any more than I like our habit of taking reclamation projects in the 2nd. I know we need defense help, but Slater sitting there was sure hard to pass up. Get him at guard and then slide out to LT as Tyron keeps breaking down.

Any CB or S at the 12 would have been a reach. I wish we could have traded back into the 20s and picked up a 1st next year then took Moerhig. Less of a reach there.

I really like the corner the Browns got. Newsome, IMO is a top 3 CB in the draft and the Brownies got him at 26th. Probably a reach for Dallas to take him at 12 and a big risk to move back again when other talents are available to them.

I don't remember Parsons that much, probably because he sat out last year. All the experts seem to be really high on him and the Cowboys picked up some more draft capital they can use to package together to move up for someone if the opportunity presents itself. If not, then they have plenty of holes on defense to fill so more picks are always welcome.

yeah, maybe our 2nd and the PHI 3rd can move us up to get the TCU safety

Yeah, even if he just sits for a year or two they will flip him because "belichick system" and get a 1st back.
