I'm too cheap to not use Amazon, and I missed it over the past 5 years.

I just bought some shit Saturday evening, and it arrived on Sunday.

Cheaper than the store
No delivery fee
Can stay stoned and/or drunk


Other places need to modernize to complete. Blame the laws and competitors, not the consumers.

What I hate is the people who buy up everything, then resell it on Amazon at 200% price. Fuck those guys...

I bought some knock-off wired headphones off of Amazon the other day.

I saved 75% off of what I would have had to spend on name-brand headphones. They work great but a a wee bit small for my large cranial structure.

The only other thing I've personally bought from Jeff was an IDE/SATA to USB Hard Drive adapter...and that's only because its an item that you won't find in MOST stores.

I will be buying a new line toner from them in the near future as mine is worn tf out.

I'm down with this, but WalMart is the exception. I avoid that place as much as I can...they're too Anti-American in their business practices.

If it is a commodity-type product where all competitors have the same quality go Amazon. If you want quality and customer service, go to specialists.

I will say, the only thing I will buy off of Amazon, is books. Books never go on sale anywhere else, nor do they have the selection and Amazon is usually cheaper than cover price. If Target carried the books I read, I'd go there...but alas. I'm not going to fucking Barnes and Noble.

Nah. I've started using Thriftbooks though. The idea of buying used still creeps me out a bit.

Population density precludes that. Wife is starting her last job in 2 weeks. In a town of 450 people. Probably 50 of them can read.

I go to the library and borrow books.

I have a collection of books on a shelf in my house, read most of them...but I only buy if I really really want to own it and schlep it to wherever I move next

I have a collector's/hoarder's mentality when it comes to books. It causes too much mental strain for me to give them up. My library and I have come to a mutual agreement. I do buy from them when they have book sales.
