Couple opinion questions about the BIG:

1. IF CCG’s are going to stick around, does the BIG ever move it to Los Angeles?

2. Does Nebraska benefit from the California teams as far as recruiting like they did when Texas was in conference with them?

No. That wouldn't make much sense for the B1G overall. Only if you could foresee USC or UCLA being in the game, which of coruse, you can't.

Shit LA is the best choice for the B1G game. Nobody wants to go to Detroit, Indianapolis, Cleveland or Cincinnati in December.

It's easier travel for anyone outside of USC/UCLA to Indianapolis.
I was in Indianapolis this summer and it wasn’t great then. Hey kids want to go to Indianapolis or Disneyland?

Come on dude that shit will be in LA ASAP.

Hell yeah man. They love them some of that Grandaddy of 'em all.

I know, I know...the Rose Bowl is in Pasadena.

That’s what I’m thinking too and.. what better way to showcase your conference than to have it in your biggest market? If the LA teams make it then great but if not you are also showcasing your other members in the most talent rich state in your conference and.. IMO the BIG needs that.

Nebraska's always recruited California as much as tejas.
Riley took a lot of players out of California.
Might get a bump now though, particularly since Frost has coached in that region/conference before.
I know Having games in Florida helps a lot of teams recruit in the east when those kids are guaranteed a trip back to their home state in front of friends & family a few times during their college career.

Many went home for good though. Laughed at the dude from LA wearing a mask at the B1G media days, shows the cultural differences already.

I think that was the plan all along. B10 championship game in the Rose Bowl.

My opinion is thag the next step for the playoff is the 3-4 major conferences that end up existing hosting championship games as the first leg.

Enjoying the lines and the sweltering humidity I see...staying through the weekend? It gets extra special on the weekend. Miles of yelling parents, screaming children, and oppressive heat.

Possible future B1G CCG venue as well as expanded CFB playoff/Bowl venue:

Chicago is a great city to visit but January would not be choice.

I think most CCG games will now be in rotation.. I know that in the future, SEC will be dipping into TX to host the CCG there.. Jerry pays well to host the CCG for the Big12, no doubt he will do the same for the SEC. Think that would be a good fit with Atlanta, rotating.
