tOfficial B1G Thread

We won a ton of games, I know, but damn was every week stressful
Indeed, I love and respect The Vest but change was needed to update the playbooks and recruit nationally

Based on what are Minnesota and Ped State better than Ohio State?

I think Illinois beats Wisconsin this weekend

You're trolling if you think either of those 2 have a better offense than us.

Penn State's defense is also not as good as Ohio State's. Theyve allowed 367 YPG while we have allowed 283 YPG
Come on -- you got to play ND though -- so that doesn't count :dhd:

14. ? Still ranked too high.

is it good to be all alone in the upper right?

Minnesota has allowed less points and has better point differential. #1 in B1G in allowed total yards, allowed passing yards, 2nd in allowed rushing yards and allowed points.

I probably should have Penn State switched with Ohio State.

Yea but Minnesota has also played some pretty awful teams.

Colorado is the worst P5 team, pretty easily.

New Mexico State is probably a bottom 5 FBS team.

Western Illinois is a pretty bad FCS team. (They are 0-4)

Michigan State was their only "real" competition.

You can say ND sucks and Wisconsin isnt really that good but i'd say our slate has been quite a bit tougher so far than Minnesota's

The 4 teams Minnesota have played are a combined 3-14. This is why comparing college stats doesn't work like it does in the NFL.

Minnesota's got a solid team though, I have them in my top 15.

Exactly.

I'm not doubting Minnesota has a good team, but of course their overall stats look better. They've played 2 bottom 10 FBS teams, a awful FCS team and a Michigan State team that's looking like they may finish 5th or 6th in their division.
