tOfficial Make fun of the Mets thread

The Dodgers, however, aren't the most popular bet on the board at Caesars. More bets have been placed -- and more money wagered -- on the New York Mets (at 14-1) to win the World Series than any other team.

Lol @ Mets fans.

$38 million to not play baseball is a pretty sweet gig.

Between the PED busts and bad performance the last few years, reckon he’s gonna get any kind of HOF consideration?

He's a borderline HOF player, shouldn't be in with the PEDs though. If Bonds can't make it in, a PED suspension should automatically disqualify anyone from the Hall.

A WAR of nearly 70 for a second baseman, without the PEDs, I’d say he’s more than borderline, but he’s been suspended twice.

Personally, I’d put him in, but Bonds would have made it first ballot if I had my way.

Lots of money and a good prospect for 24 HR's. Mets being the Mets still.

I would say if he came back from the yearlong suspension for PED's and put up some good numbers, I'm talking near .300 BA and 20+ HR's then he would be a borderline HOFer. However, coming back from the suspension without any power and just looking like another Odor out there will give plenty of ammo to anyone saying the only reason he ever played well was because of PED's.

Those comments will be around, but the dude is getting pretty old too.

I hope Steve Cohen on some random January day just pays off the rest of that contract.

Darren Rovell might actually kill himself because he couldn't act all uppity about it anymore.

Sal Licata went to the class taught by Stephen A Smith entitled:

If I Talk Loud Enough And Obnoxious Enough, People Will Think I Know What I Am Talking About
That’s a requirement for any New York sports team fan right? Loud, obnoxious and entitled
