I'm currently looking into some Bose over-the-ear that are wireless, but come with a cord for those times you don't want wireless.
I haven't gotten them, yet, and they aren't cheap - the ones I'm looking at are $329 - but I can't deal with earbuds, and I don't want to be stuck with wireless, only, or corded, only, so ...

Also, I just noticed when I was looking for a link for you, they come in different colors, which is something you might like.

Although those are likely a bajillion times more comfortable, I don’t know if I could do both ears totally covered. I already talk too loud and that makes me lose all perspective :laugh: Probably forgot to mention that I’d be mostly using them for work stuffs.

Plantronics over ear (one ear piece, not two) with a microphone. Amazon. About $40.

That makes sense.
There are probably some that aren't as "shut out the entire outside world" as what I linked, so you wouldn't talk too loudly, but still over-the-ear, and have the option of being corded, or not. If I see anything like that as I continue my search, I'll let you know.

At the office, I have the poly voyager 4310 but I was thinking of getting buds for both work & personal use.

Allergies, huh?

I'll never forget when I was still having to wear a mask to teach and my allergies kicked in.
Usually, I wouldn't take allergy medicine no matter what, because even the ones that aren't supposed to either knock me out or make me feel like I just snorted an eightball.
Having to wear a mask made it so I had to take something, and, well, it was quite the adventure trying to teach while whacked out on Benadryl. :laugh:

The masks made my allergies so much better. Im virtually dying everyday
