Newest renters a few houses down have six cars. Four crammed into the driveway and two in the street essentially “blocking” the driveway, going from the curb in front of the house to the end of their portion of the driveway(it’s a townhome). Looks awesome.

Management companies are buying any townhome up they can around here. Our development is basically 50/50 single family homes and townhomes. The amount of trash moving in to our development and the new development a block away is astounding.

Could you complain to the HOA? I hear they love to solve problems

Fucking wish there was an HOA for all this trash

Your city may have some ordinance against that sort of thing. Some friends of ours live in a neighborhood with no HOA. They had someone move into their neighborhood who let their front yard get overrun with weeds (some over 3 feet tall). They contacted the city who contacted the homeowner. Front yard got cleaned up quickly.

Also, I've seen where if a car is parked on the street (even in front of a house) for a few days, there will first be a chalk mark on one of the rear tires and the street. Then a ticket, then the vehicle gets towed.

Yea I think there are rules about not moving parked vehicles for a few days. People a couple streets away love to park their boats for a bit. These six cars all move every day though. Like all these people have jobs.

The cars are mostly nice too, a big Wagoneer, New Escape, New Accord, new Legacy. Only one is below average (it’s like Nissan minivan). So these people clearly have money. Why the fuck are they cramming like 14 people into a 3 bedroom rental? This development is becoming fucking bizarre as shit.

I've heard of a few families doing something like that to save cash to buy a house. 3 or 4 families will get together and rent 1 house. They deal with cramped conditions for a couple of years while they save up money for a downpayment, then each family buys a house.

I think there's a house in my neighborhood that's been doing that. There's a couple that owns the home, but there will be several more people living there. Then, there will be a couple of days of moving trucks and a couple of weeks later, there are several more people moving in.

Can't say for sure that's what's going on because I'm the asshole who never talks to any of the neighbors, but it seems logical.
