I had remembered it getting hung up because of one guy down in SoCal saying constituents were complaining, or something, but I didn't realize it had to be federally approved.
I can't see why Federal approval, if the State stops dicking around, would be a problem, since the state next door (Arizona) stopped going back and forth years ago.

I did a comparison on the costco site and that was the category that was blank for this model. Fuggin' bastards! They have an older tech Samsung 65" - RU9000 Series - 4K UHD LED LCD TV that has a refresh rate of 120Hz and Motion Rate of 240. And it's only $800. Again, it's LCD, but I don't think I'm really that snobby about TVs.

That it's not compatible. It's like a known thing. 2015 or earlier doesn't work without a firestick, roku, etc. I can use my laptop to connect, but I just don't want to. Plus, the one I have IS kinda small because I like to watch TV from my bed and it feels too far away.
