Meh, a cinnamon raisin scone with my morning coffee on occasion ain’t bad.
Cinnamon and raisins go together and have for hundreds of years. Putting raisins in cole slaw sounds like something California socialists would do.

I had heard about soaking your nuts (wooOOOO) to soften them up, but I ain't got time for that. Busy Man (TM)

Raisins are fine by themselves, at least if they are the only option and I'm hungry enough.
I don't like them in things, though, and will pick them out.

In other words, I agree ... if you remove the raisins from the cinnamon raisin scone. :biggrin:

I've found that I prefer the golden raisins to the blackish ones (no raycess). They taste more like dried fruit and less like crystallized sugar.
