Where's @packerzrule ? Hiding until his ugly avy expires? :heh:

This is why I should not go off-script when grocery shopping...
Saw some english muffins and thought it would make a good breakfast, smeared with a little PB and some banana slices. I already have PB so i told myself, "Self - make sure to go grab a nanner!" So I went over to the produce section and got strawberries, lettuce, celery and some green onions.

Do you see nanners in that litany?! Went to make my english muffin rn and NO FUCKING NANNER!!!
Just throw some of that celery on em, baddabing

Oh, you've done it now! TO THE GIF MACHINE!!

Nanner is southern, didn't expect it to be in use outside of the confederacy

A disgusting fruit favored by lower primates.
They are pretty icky, but once in awhile, I'll buy one for cereal or english muffins. And they have to have a greenish tinge. Hate a ripe banana. Once they have a freckle, they need to sit until they are black to go into banana bread.

Years ago, my dad worked for Chiquita banana shipping bananas from Ecuador to Long Beach. He could get cases of bananas for free. Too bad he didn’t work for a brewery.

my uncle (surrogate dad) was (is) a tractor mechanic in a pretty rural area (SOUTH, south bay... Gilroy, Hollister, etc.) and when he did side jobs, the people would invariably pay him in produce. Would love when he'd come home with buckets of artichokes, cherries, strawberries, etc.

Stop slacking and get that generational menudo recipe.
