I'm not wut you would consider a whipper-snapper, but this stuff came up pretty quickly over the last year.

What's annoying af is I'm sked for the right eye on Oct 4 & the left eye on Oct 10. They require a fng neg Covid test within 3 days of each surgery so that's two fng trips just to get my nose swiped. Then, they require me back after each day of surgery for a post-op check. Six separate fng trips to the dayum clinic. This Covid shet needs to go. :gaah:

When they are about to swab your nose, start itching your balls, and casually say..."These goddamned crabs are hungry today!?"

My area is fine, for the most part. The rain is going away and now is WINDY! They've closed the bridges to our area as wind gusts are over 65mph.

Evidently, according to the electric company's power outage page, there is about 71K without power. Only about 2K out in my Newport, Ri area... So far anyway. the winds are STILL gusting. Power went out for less than a minute and then came back on.

Looks like it'll come ashore close to the RI and Connecticut southeast border.

But, all in all, I'm in good shape - thanks! :nod:

Nah... They've been closed for many, many years now. In fact, they got shut down for underage drinking. That whole building was demolished and replaced with a new commercial building about 10-15 years ago

The China Star Chinese take-out place is STILL there in the new building, though!! :heh:

They gave me three options for the new lenses they gonna put in muh eyeballs and the 'corrective measures' they offer. Two were covered by insurance, the third option wasn't. So, I'm forced to tell them I want to be, basically, near-sighted or far-sighted - I will still need some sorta glasses. I chose the far-sighted option, so I'll need glasses to read & see shet up close.

I'm just tired of dealin with this shet and want to be able to see again.
