31 is crazy young. You said she was overweight. Not to pry, but significantly overweight or just hasn’t lost the baby weight overweight?
I would say pretty fat. She was probably my height (5'3") and probably over 2 bills? 250? Definitely not "thick" or "chunky"... more than that. Ironic thing is that the covid probably got her down to close to healthy. :sigh:

That's a BMI of 44.3. BMI 30 is considered obese.

Yeah, like I said - pretty fat. I haven't seen her since my SIL's wedding (this was pre-babies) but she was a big girl then.

Yep... That's sad. Sorry to hear that has happened.

There's NEVER a good time for things like this to happen, but it's always a damn shame when bad things like this happen during a holiday season.

GOOD Vibes to her and her family during this time...
Yeah- it sounds trite right now, but I made a similar comment to my SIL - that for the rest of their lives, Christmas is going to have that extra tinge of sadness :pout:

They should just tell Christmas to fuck off for a couple years. All holidays for the first year at least.

Dvrn. Any symptoms?
Like a mild flu basically, nothing some OTCs can't take care of. Still have taste and smell, but getting flu-like symptoms when it was in the 60s was a pretty big red flag something wasn't right. Mostly just bummed about having to sit around in confinement until I test negative.

The taste/smell thing usually takes a few days to kick in. Hopefully that part skips you - it's so weird. Will they tell you if it's delta or omicron? I have a feeling I'll get a breakthrough case after disneyland.

No idea, it was an at-home test. Been having symptoms for a few days so hoping this is all I'll have to deal with.

From what I've seen, at least so far, delta is pretty rough, and omicron isn't, so if it ain't too bad, it's likely omicron.
Well, unless it's delta, but because you've been vaccinated, it isn't nearly as rough on you as delta is on those who haven't been vaccinated.
It's getting really confusing.

might've been a double or triple, but it was still one.

It's similar to when I go brunching and get a bottomless mimosa... if they pour me more before I've drained every drop of the previous one, it's still the same mimosa. I assure you, just ONE mimosa can get me pretty fucked up!
