Pretty sure I’ve had my fill of a liberal town for the month.
Missed the smells and sights of poverty and homelessness everywhere. Drove past the likely end of a carjacking, with about 20 cops setting up a 4 block perimeter, multiple K9s out with a truck wrapped around a pole in the middle of it, drivers door open and a smashed sedan a block up the road from it. Blue cities, yum yum.

only up for 48 hours straight watching the water rise in my front yard and see how close the water got to the backyard....
but i got very very lucky
sadly - that caused me NOT to have flood insurance because if we didn't flood then... we will never flood here....

And hard to believe it's been 5 years.
