Oof! Okay, okay - you win. But if get even a tiny whiff of staleness from the washer, they get rewashed.

I don't know if that's a thing, either, but if it is, I'd absolutely get in trouble for it, since, unless it's winter, I pretty much always drive barefoot.
Of course, I have the excuse of being from Kentucky (which I would totally use as an excuse if a cop ever called me out on driving barefoot - maybe it wouldn't work, but I'd try - the ol "I'm sorry, I don't understand your fancy ways - I'm just a simple girl from Kentucky" thing has worked before).
I learned to drive barefoot (no, really, I did - and was all nervous when I took my driver's test and the testing person told me I had to put shoes on for the test).

I was in a rush (and a skoch hungover) and ran out of the house with no shoes so my friend wouldn't be late to work or something. I had to stop at wally world and pick up some flip flops because that was all that was open that early :laugh:

Hahaha ... I always have a few extra pair in the car.
It isn't a conscious thing.
It's a ... I put on shoes to walk to the car, then take them off, put them on to do whatever, but not always to get from the car back to the house when I get home, so I end up with a more than one pair in there.
