Also a clog and possible leak in the cooling coil. Wheeeee

I mean this is only our second summer in the house so no.

Apparently the first owners never had it serviced in 8 years.

Oh and apparently when it was installed they either didn’t put some weird button steel piece on it or some shit or the previous owners removed it…
Expansion valve?

So it isnt cooling? Oh nevermind. It sounds like they sent out a salesman.

Fan works and stuff but it’s not cooling. Apparently there’s supposed to be like a piece at the bottom of the interior unit, but when you take the panel off, you can just see the floor? He said he used a camera and saw there was a clog and possible leak…

He also said we should be using cheaper filters than we do. We use the fancy thick filters and he said that could slow down the flow of the unit?

Cheap filters are always better for the system. unless you have some type of health issue, you should always use the cheapies.

Im confused as to how he got a camera inside the coil.

Water heaters? Maybe depends on the manufacturer/brand.
Not heater as in furnace. water heater life can depend as much on where you are as anything. here we get 7 to 10 years, typically. mine is 18 years old, but I flush it twice a year.

I get the furnace and tankless water heater serviced every year, about $360. For the gas fireplace, every 2 years @ $180.

Back from Maui.
It was nice to get out of town for a bit, but it was definitely too short of a trip. Especially when the fucktardios at work kept pinging me on Thursday & Friday, even though my auto-reply told the retards I was out of office. Can't wait to take a real vacation.

Did you get your time card punched?

We're not talking about that until Friday.

Or maybe it's next Friday :hmm:
Went on vacation and didn't get your time card punched?! Hell you might as well be married then. How about some sexy time with a tipsy female friend at the very least?

Damn fried rabbit was a bit dry and stringy even after an 8 hour buttermilk and herb/spice marinade. Tasted like chicken but I'll stick to chicken.
