i have a problem where apparently i show inappropriate shit to my kids.

showing them the oustiders at 7 was frown upon by the wife

OT is the reason I hope they never ask me to go salaried. I generally don't charge them if i do less than an hour on the weekends, but I pretty much nail them from the first email I send to the last one on work days.

When I was hourly I got to charge a minimum 2 hours for anything outside of regular hours. Now I'm salary and it feels like I never have an evening or weekend without at least a call.

Wifey used to complain about that type of thing too. But they both are normal and well adjusted. And seemingly deal with things a lot better than most of their peers.

Back in my "employee" days, I refused to go salaried. Even quit a couple jobs because of that. I never really liked OT either, for the most part.
