When you count bags it's almost always the cheapest option (not counting budget airlines) unless you're in a loyalty program elsewhere. Southwest is also pretty good about switching too, I had a bag not make it until the next flight in once and got a nice voucher off my next flight as a make up for needing to wait a couple hours for it to arrive.

Oh, yeah, if you're in Chicago, flying United makes all kinds of sense.
Even though there was no such thing as non-stop from SFO to Louisville, I always flew United because of there being a million flights out of SFO and them having a great frequent flyer program. It isn't as great as it used to be, but it's still pretty good. I was even going to try their non-stop from SFO to Indianapolis on my next trip and just drive to Louisville, basically because I just hate layovers too much (and Delta got rid of their non-stop to Cincinnati).
I'm hoping the new airline, Breeze, which just started a non-stop flight twice a week from SFO to Louisville is successful, 'cause then that's what I'll do - and use all my United miles for ... some sort of nice upgrade to ... somewhere.

I love how you can tell which coworkers were around when our company was mostly in-office because they feel the need to message their team to say they'll be out for a few minutes.

It's one thing if its an hour+ and it's not lunch, something that'll take 10 minutes feels like overkill.

I don’t even GAF when they’re out for half a day or more. Put your OOO on and let me know who is covering your ass and go fuck the fuck off.

They did this to us in the BVI, we were on a smaller prop plane, and the flight attendant said "the captain has requested that you all move to the back, for weight distribution."

I'm like, "WTF? The four of us weigh enough to upset the balance of this plane that weighs several tons?"

Yeah, yeah, get yer fat jokes in, everybody... We don't clear 750 combined. On another flight they asked a single old woman to move to the back. I just wonder at that logic

Truthfully, same. I get extended periods as a common courtesy but "going to the neighbor's to let the dog out, be back in a few" type shit is just like.....okay great.

Yea, they did that to us for weight distribution on Frontier.

It wasn’t even a half full flight and I’m guessing almost no one paid to select their seat, so… why not just assign the seats automatically so the weight is distributed from the jump?

Whatever, free snacks.
