Ive never had Als,but from all the food network shows,they are always talking about Als as the place to go.......
Ive had steak at Ditkas about 12 years ago,and it was awesome......
Mc Cormick and Schmiks is a block away from Ditkas,Ive had the seafood there,but seen other customers plates and the steaks there look fantastic......
Just dont eat at the 85th floor in the Hancock,very over rated,scenic over looking Lake Michigan,but over rated......
If youre in the city and make it to Michigan ave,do yourself a favor and make it to Ditkas and pick yourself up a souvrnier.....Hes got a nice line of cigars if youre into that.......
Plus,not sure about his health anymore,but he does frequent there and does pictures and autographs.....you just never know.

I had pequod’s last time I was there and it was pretty good but I think I actually prefer Lou’s for deep dish. Could have been because the one at pequod’s was a personal size so it felt a little overcooked, but still a decent pie.
