I hate expense reports. Do you use Concur or something else for them?

Dumbass Concur! It is so user unfriendly. I don't know why I dread it so much, but it is spectacularly unfun for me. I've told myself every single day this week... JUST DO THE FUCKING REPORTS TODAY!! And I still haven't done them.

I had to get up to speed on expense reports really quickly when I had to organize sales seminars and lunches for a few hundred people around the country. My Amex was hitting about $7K a month for over 3 months. No way was I going to pay one fucking dime of my own money.

I fucking hate it. Attaching images is a pain in the ass if you don’t take them with your phone. If a hotel sends me a PDF, ugh...

I also have a corporate AMEX, but not all of the charges flow through. Some come through multiple times. I hate it a lot.

99% of the boss' are on his corp card so it's mostly just reconciling. Entering itemizations sucks donkey cock... there's what? 2 spaces for taxes when hotels have 11 different fucking fees for a single night's stay?! Then we have direct billing for airfare and if I cancel, I have to wait for the credit to show up so they offset each other, but then it screams at me if I have shit on there over 30 days. But I do prefer a pdf over a photo because he texts me the pics then I have to download it to my pictures, then email (stupid iphone wants to default to heic format or something) the jpeg to myself, save it as a pdf then upload to Concur. If it's a pdf, i just save it & upload it.

The bigger issue is MY expenses.... I try to save the company money by buying shit at costco where they don't accept our corp Amex so I pay out of pocket. Or when I go to Target, I use my Target card so I get a 5% discount, then I forget to submit those expenses. I think they owe me about $2k right now, but I've lost a bunch of receipts so I'm pretty well fucked. I need to get my shit together next year.

I don’t even deal with the personal shit. We get a daily per diem when we travel that I take and figure I largely come out even rather than reconciling.
 
Can't fix stupid....you hate losing your money then do something about it. Until then you get what you deserve.
