Yeah, even if she moved out for undergrad, this is a small college town. She wouldn't be far away. Even med school will be less than 2 hours. It's just that "different roof" thing that gets me.

She already has her masters, and they are in much better shape than we were starting out. She just LOVES her dorm. Even when all her classmates go home for a holiday weekend, she stays there. The only way we got her to come home for thanksgiving was because we went to the adirondacks. She'll come to the hood to meet up with her friends who still live here, but she won't drop by the house. Except to come grab some food

In all honesty, my wife is a bit of a control freak. She was going on and on about how she was going to help get him through the academy, and he was probably, thinking, "FUCK ALL OF THAT" I love her, but she can be a bit of a pill when she wants to take the reigns on something. ITS ALL HER FAULT
