Seriously. I have an athletic bag that I use that is small enough to carry onto the plane.

If it doesn't fit in there...I don't need it.

Hahahaha ...

That reminds of the time years ago, back when my mama was still alive, she and her husband had come out to visit, we were out at a beach and this guy with really long hair, a really long beard, a staff with all kinds of crystals and weird shit hanging off it, who looked like he hadn't bathed in quite a while walked by.
My step-father made the perfect comment.

He's heading back to the mothership. :biggrin:

That's what I usually end up saying an hour before I'm headed to the airport when i'm doing my "WTF ELSE DID I FORGET" dash around the house. i am an absolute over-packer and it's so damn annoying.

Back in the late '90's I lived in Hollywood within walking distance from Hollywood Blvd, Graumans Chinese Theater etc.,

There was a little bistro type restaurant where I used to like to go sometimes, get an outside table, have a couple of beers and people watch.

Saw some very entertaining folks. lol

Oh, I bet I could make you feel better about being an over-packer.

Packing for a trip is one of those things I get beyond meticulous about.
It isn't just that my list must have every single thing on it, and by day (like yours), but I can't have anything extra, and it must all be placed in the baggage just so.
Like, I'd be one of those people who, if I went through TSA and they went through my luggage, anyone taking a video could zoom in on my eyes and you could tell my world was just collapsing on itself. Then there would be more video of me over on the side repacking every item just so.
Talk about fucking annoying.

Might work out in my favor though... I won't have any (or very little) overtime this week and next, so I may not get pushed to the next tax level.
