The "let's publicly dismiss one of the teams were counting on to try to salvage this conference after the So Cal teams split after this season" is a bold move though. Have to respect that on some level. Let's see if it pays off.

How can you advocate for Oregon to be in the CCG?

Um, they beat Utah just a couple of weeks ago and have as many conf losses.

Their version of 3+ way tiebreaking is dumb. The methods that look to eliminate teams and get down to 2 and use the normal tiebreaker after that make more sense. Just that change and Oregon is in. UW would have been eliminated based on lowest SOS (dumb as it is to use that as the breaker) and Oregon goes based on head to head when it gets down to 2.

We still have a mentally challenged conference on all levels.

I actually think this Prime hire is not just good for Colorado but the Pac that was left for dead. Along with the season Utah, UW, Oregon and Oregon State had. WSU not to bad either. If Colorado rises becaue of this the Pac isnt looking half bad

It was a joke. But yeah the tiebreaker is dumb but I wish it were in place before SC and UCLA left

Eh, I still think he made a bad decision going to Boulder. Granted I would’ve loved to have him as our coach.

Penix will return for his final year of eligibility

Sorry Pac12 defenses

I can’t even believe this. Exciting news for us, but I hope he’s making the right decision with how injury prone he’s been before he got here.

I guess that also answers if he’ll play in the bowl. Get some!

He had already said he was going to play in bowl no matter what.

I'm sure he is staying too extend his resume mostly around his health. Two full years look better than one after all of those shortened seasons with injuries.

He will get Heisman preseason hype, but he doesn't seem like he cares about that. He wants the playoffs.

did he miss any this season? i dont remember hearing about any injury this year

Nope. But the most he was in prior to this year was 6 games.

If he can go all 12+ next year it should up his stock and lower fear of his injury history.

Oregon rumored to hire UTSA OC
UTSA won CUSA 11-2 was 9th in the country in total offense and 12th in ppg

Get the defense figured out, even just a little, and this team could be something next year.

Need a new DC to go with filling that vacancy.

We can probably use one as well.

Can we trade with Oregon State for their bowl game? I'd much prefer Vegas vs the Gators than Holiday vs UNC. Like how the F did the Beavs go to a lower bowl and get a better opponent?

WTF are you on about? better in name recognition only
UNC 9-4 division winner 2nd best in the ACC
Florida 6-6 5th in division and maybe 8th best in SEC
if Florida were like 8-4 and like 3rd in the East you might have an argument

Um, the Vegas selected before the Holiday did. It is the higher of the two bowls this year. So no, you can't ask to swap up to the higher bowl after losing to the team that was selected and ended the season ranked higher.

Is this all new to you?
