I don't understand this? It's done when it's done. So you go through months only to harvest it prematurely?

It was somewhat lack of experience. Plus, the weather was perfect and I felt like putzing. It got putzed

100% putz for sure.

All this time wasted on him.

Did you dry it in a toaster oven too?

I am so ashamed...and high.

You could potentially have been higher for much longer.

As Peter Tosh, the Ire Bush Doctor once said, "Good, better, best. But you can't smoke money."

Not that I can do anything about it, but watching some video's and the optimum growing temps seem to be around 85 degrees.
Some are saying that high temps aren't great on the plant, but there's nothing I can do about that.

What does a Summer of high 90's - 110 degrees do to outside plants ??? Slow their growth rate?? Because heat, matched with what I think was a late start growing, and it might not turn out good at all.

I'm overthinking it aren't I.

I'm still getting 13 1/2 hours of light here.
September 26th is the local date when daylight hits 12 hours, so I think there is more time for it to grow.

Still doesn't look very bushy.

Today might be the last 100 degree day we have this year.
10 day forecast calls for mid 80's to mid 90's the rest of the way

Genetics and soil conditions. If you have good growing conditions, stick with it.

Every year, I have some that start off bushy and other that start off thin. If cared for and they are good seeds, fit for your area, they all turn out well in the end.

The purple bud, the LSD25, I posted a couple of pages back is growing beside the Mephisto plants and all 4 plants were started from seed on the same day. The LSD25 started off very thin and I almost pulled it because it was so ugly. It looked retarded. These are new genetics for me, so I was thinking of starting another Mephisto seed because they were just awesome looking. But I ended up sticking with that one plant because starting another plant would have been a few weeks behind the other three plants already there and the light height would be off on the new plant started later.

I'm happy because the LSD25 has turned out so awesome. It's still retarded ... just a gnarly thing. But still a very nice bud. Not as much weight as the mephisto but a completely different smell and look. I'll be posting pix in a couple of days.
