For those who smoke marijuana and other legal substances, you’ll no longer be able to light up while walking around the fair. Instead, you’ll have to stop at one of six designated smoking areas along the perimeter of the fairgrounds.

Times have changed.

Alright...public enemy number 1. This crochet wearing grandpa must be a relative of Nixon.

Learn from missteps on tobacco rules

There is an important lesson to be learned from the lack of limits on nicotine in cigarettes.

The idiot compares nicotine to THC. He should have all advanced degrees removed for being stupid beyond belief. I'm guessing he's a UM grad.

It's madness, Reefer Madness.

After using 'Medical' for the last couple of years, I have only found 1 seed in any of it, last March.
In the middle of April, I stuck it in the ground in the back of one of my flower/shrub beds........completely forgot about it.

Fast forward 2 weeks ago.
I see this strange plant poking it's head out from the back covered up by other shrubs.

Yep, it came up. Was almost 3 feet tall by then.

Not sure what to do with it. I put some bone meal and blood meal around it to give it a boost.
It's 4 feet tall now and starting to bush out on top. It was looking spindly up until now.

Doesn't look to have any buds yet, but does seem to like my sprinkler system.

Have no idea what I have or what to do with it or how it will turn out, so I'll just let it grow for now and leave it alone.

Any ideas???

No advice beyond what you are doing. keep the ground tilled around it so it isn't competing with weeds. Don't use weed killers of any kind or weed and feed products. If you want to add nutrients, they want nitrogen early on but as day light is reduced, fertilizing should be pot ash or a 0 - 0 - 10.

Depending on the genetics, they can grow quite tall or be smaller by design so what it is, is what it is. And we don't know if it's a male or female yet. Time will tell these things.

Look towards the top(Nearest light) at the base of a branch where it connect to the stem, and where new leaf life is showing, between 3 and 6 weeks.

Males will show a little sac (har har) and the females will have a "similar" sac, but with two white pistols poking out.

Male's sac looks more rounded, while the female is more elongated.

Likely will need a 30x magnifying lens.

You can tell early on, while it's still in a vegetative state. (Like I said, 3 to 6 weeks)

With that said, even if it starts out as pure sinsemilla, if the plant gets stressed, (lack of light, nutes, water, etc.) it will become a hermaphrodite and its energy will go to making seeds instead of weeds.

With my limited knowledge, I'm going to say that it has plenty of water because of my sprinkler system, been feeding it slow release fertilizer thru top dressing but know nothing about 'specifics', and I have no control over the sunlight but it's full sun all day and 100 degrees.

Not sure what I'll get, but I'll let it do it's thing.

And, if it gets to a point where it has buds, when do you harvest ????

Unless it's an auto flowering strain, yer light cycle is what throws it into budding. Once the light cycle cuts to 12 hrs or less, it starts to flower.

You can tell when to harvest by looking at the trichomes under a 30x scope. They will be clear as water at first, then become milky, and then an amber color. Clear is not mature, milky is better, amber with a little milk still, is best IMO. Opinions vary tho.

How is male/female determined ?? and how do you know, early on, which it is ??

This plant is much further along but you can see the female pistols all over it. If you look at the ends of the buds in the image below, they are the white hairs at the ends protruding out of the purple/black part of the bud.

As BD states, at a younger age you can determine male or female... "Look towards the top(Nearest light) at the base of a branch where it connect to the stem", ... and it is there you will see the little white hairs sticking out that you see all over this bud. A male will not have those white hairs.

If it's already budding, and yer worried about it herming, look closely fer "nanners".

They look like little itty bitty bananas, and they are loaded with pollen. If you are very careful, and only have a plant or two, I have had success plucking those nanners with tweezers. As I stated before, once it herms, all it's focus goes to seeds. If you can pluck those nanners, you can regain its focus on the buds to an extent.

I don't think it's budding yet, just growing.
I'll have to check closer with my glasses on.

Do you know what week yer in? Give or take?
