tOfficial “Weed Growers” Thread

The lady who gave me the Dream Queen plant brought me a late rooted cutting of another variety. About 18" tall. I'll leave it alone til 1st frost. No hint of any buds yet but is luxurious leafed.
 
There are a million people on YouTube telling you how to grow Weed.
So I started thinking about taking a Clone off of my plant, and started watching more video's.

It seems like these guys make it way more complicated than it actually is, so I said fuck all that and just did what I've done for 40 years when I divide or take cuttings from a regular plant.

So I cut from the bottom, made sure to get 3 nodes, cut the end at 45 degrees, etc etc.
Dipped it into rooting hormone, stuck it in some potting soil, put a large plastic baggy on top of it for humidity, watered with de-chlorinated water, and put it in a very shaded area.

We're going to see if it's that hard or not.


Tell me where I went wrong.
I'll know soon enough anyway.

Bro my way is the only right way and it's too late you fucked it all up just cut it all up and mulch it into the next attempt. Pffffffffffffffffffft

It is a weed. Not a persnickety rose or something.

On day 3 now and the clone hasn't wilted or anything yet. Looks good I think as much as I can tell thru the plastic baggy.

Oh happy day!! Spotted the 1st buds developing. Hoping for a late frost.
 
Started the process on Aug 14. So one month in. Weather nice so I will likely leave her for one more month. Sticky, stinky buds but need more size. About a foot shorter than last year but much more bushy.

Fuck. Wheeling it out yesterday morning I broke a branch. A low one at least. It would never have the big buds you’re proud of. But it still pisses me off.

I'm 2 weeks into this clone.
Never looked wilted, but hasn't shown signs of any growth or anything. I think this is normal, but thought I would run it past the board.

I can't see so not sure. I'm assuming it's doing it's thing just because it hasn't withered up and died.
Doesn't look dead. Doesn't look like it's thriving. So I'll wait it out and report back.

2 weeks now.
 
Ok
One more week until sunlight dips below the 12 hour mark here in my area.
What happens then ?? Being outside in the ground and all.
 
I only grow elite liberal weed so I'm likely not much help to you.
