tOfficial “Weed Growers” Thread

It's been 2 weeks since I took mine with a shit I 8 work phone. All I need for my life. I love your last one.

I'll get my son to take some shots with his fancy Samsung communication device. It takes great pictures.

Our weather seems endless right now. Each week it is forecast to drizzle late in the week and it just keeps moving way out to the next week.

Thing is even though it's 84 in the day, it drops to 43 at night. And the dew is a huge issue outdoors.

But since I put mine to bed each night, I get up around 7 AM, walk downstairs out to the shop and turn on the lights. Around 8:30, 9 AM I go move the lady out into the sun after the dew passes.

She never sees the dew.

Speaking of which, 30 minutes till dark time for her.

It's long past dark here. Highs today were upper 50's so there isn't much time left for outdoor growing. I'm having a problem sizing my photo's of the whole plants. I'll try tomorrow to see if I can get them to post.
 
Highs here are still in the 80's.
Mid 50's at night.

1st average freeze here is November 5th, so I think I still have time.
 
Our weather is unusual right now. We've only had a small douse of rain once in the last 3 months more or less.

Got down to 4 C last night. Still sunny but I've called it a day.

Will be trimming shortly.
 
Next 11 days......

Average highs around 75, with an 85 in there.
Lows average about 55 with a dip to 45 one night.

20% chance of rain 1 day, but otherwise dry.

Isn't that a good thing.

Buds are growing
Cola's are forming but small.

I think I have 3 maybe 4 weeks left
The cold will come in fast though.



Still think this plant is 4-5 weeks behind though.
 
We have another week and a half of warm weather, 24 Celsius to 28 Celsius. But the daylight hours are less than 11 right now. And it’s cold as fuck at night. If I put the girl out first thing in the morning she gets covered and dew and I hate that. Too much of that and it’s guaranteed mold.

I'm sitting at 11:24:32 hours of daylight per day and falling

And the Sun is 92.707 million miles away from the earth.

Not all weed looks the same. Those "red hairs" are pistils or stigmas.

You need to look at your trichomes under a 30x magnifying lens to judge when your plant is done. It is a bit of a misnomer that once the stigmas are red, the plant is done. Much more accurate to look at the trichomes.

Well, without any real knowledge of those things, my plan was to just keep it in the ground until I see the first freeze coming, then harvest.

Not sure what to do other than that.

I have seen where people stop nutrients closer to harvest, and some stop watering a week or two before harvest, in order to get increased bud production. Not sure about any of that though because I've never done it.

You stop feeding it the last week or two, just to flush out out any residual nutrients. It's for flavor and "safety" as much as anything.

You still want to water it, as that is what "flushes" it.
