tOfficial “Weed Growers” Thread

My two girls are doing very well.

I'm calling it Recovery Growing.

Like being 3 from the tee, shanking the next shot and having to play Recovery golf the rest of the day.

One of my Photoperiods is a Male or hermaphrodite.
Had to cut him out before it produced any pollen.

I remember this seed was from my plant from last year.
@beardown07 told me this might happen, but I had to try.

It's just that I had it in the tent for months, then put it outside first thing, been taking up space and sunlight...........WTF man.
It was 6 1/2 feet tall and about 5 feet wide.

Down to 4 now and 1 puny one that didn't get any sun because of Mr Male.

Like I said before about my large boy that was from a seed from last year, good for rope.

11 Day Forecast..............................
100's every day with a couple of 105's thrown in there.
Zero Rain

All my plants took a shit ton of water this morning.

Since I'm off for 2 weeks I'm not packing my phone so I'm not taking pictures.

But my 2 are doing very nicely. A fine, not skunky smell. Which my wife appreciates.

Weather has been superb with only 3 days with any rain in the last 3 months. I think I took the cuttings in late June and they took hold in July. I forced flowering in early August and since they were both 3' high I can easily carry them in and out of my pitch black shop.

I love it after handling the pots and my forearms have that nice aroma on them from bud contact. I'll try to remember pictures tomorrow. I'm impressed with how they've done in 2 months.

Hundred degree days are coming to an end.
Next Tuesday high of 80 with rain.

My photoperiods were slow/late blooming (probably genetics) but are now taking off.

I took this over the weekend. These are the same plants I showed off a few pages back..post 585. They are now 9 - 10 foot and still need about another 2 to 3 weeks...maybe longer. They won't get taller, but will fill out nicely.

How hard is that, and what do you have to have to make it exactly.

Somehow I missed this. I think I posted the video in this thread. I'll look for it. To start up, there is a few grand in equipment, but after that, it's a matter of just following the steps. There is work to it but I wouldn't say it's any harder than pruning plants. I'll find the video I used to learn.

Post 364 but Ha! Sorry, this video is no longer available.

That explains why I couldn't find it on youtube a second ago. I'll look around to see if he's put his up someplace else.

@outofyourmind I can't find the video I was looking for. But...

This guy is cramming a lot of information into a 16 minute video but should give you an idea of what it takes. He has most of the equipment I have except he is mixing his weed into ice water with a boat paddle in a bucket. I use a small washing machine and I do multiple runs reusing the same pot four or five times. He only processed his pot through one time.

But his steps and systems are ok. He doesn't give near enough detail or explain certain requirements like how cold the room must be when doing this. So there is no doubt things you won't understand because he hasn't stressed or explained the reasons why enough.

The video I learned from was a much longer video.

It's been 4 weeks so I hit my photo's with more Alaska Morbloom 0-10-10, about 1 gallon each.
Top dressed with Bone Meal. Always felt like my super soil was a little light on the phosphorus. I'll load in more next year.

I looked back in this thread and it had been 4 weeks since the last dose.

Flowers are still small but growing and getting bigger.
Hopefully this fertilizer will jump start them growing faster.

I think they have been stuck in 'week 1' of flower for 3 weeks now.

I’m still leaving my two recovery girls alone. Aside from giving them their juice and putting them to bed at night. The weather is looking good for the next two weeks. And since I’m in no rush, I’m just gonna leave them.
Many of the major buds are quite large. And they don’t have that skunky smell, that my wife hates.

I was disappointed with my storage process last year. Humidity bags left the buds powder dry. How do you do your do your harvest to storage process? I'm going to pull and hang this weekend.

Hang, trim, paper bags, quart jars

I use paper bags to assist in the drying process once I’ve got the buds cleaned up. I don’t hang mine though. Easier to prune when not dry for me.

We’ve had two days now with a little bit of rain so I haven’t put my girls out. I’ve just left them in the shop. I’ve got twelve 4’ fluorescent tubes and 4 are cheeping grow tubes. For sure not as good as proper grow lights, but for two days, it gets me through the wet.
