yeah i have 4 more hours to go before the guy has to say either yes or no lol

I told the guy that we were there for the game and that me and my buddy are in our mid 40s, responsible and drama free lol

Well it's Columbus. Should've included your pronouns.

Why you gotta lie like that bro.

so the first one fell through since no response.. but i got another that was accepted..it's just out in grove city..
Should work out fine. Grove City is kinda dumpy but it's an easy drive from the airport and to campus.

it's near a 3 brothers diner.. but we have no issues driving around.. we were driving from Detroit to Ann Arbor last year.. and from basically Birmingham to Tuscaloosa the year before.

One of my closest friends brothers aren't making the trip because of how crazy the tosu fans were after the game in 2005. I told them it won't be like that anymore but they ain't hearing it

I don't see any issues, especially with my friends and I.. we are mellow

Oh you're out on the western edge of Grove City. Depending on when you're heading to campus, it might not be the worst idea to avoid I-71N and try and go up 270N and go to campus from the west side through Upper Arlington. If you're able to hit the road by like 5:30/6:00am you should probably be fine.

Have a good time. If you need any recommendations let me know.

Word is the new OSU AD is pushing hard to make this a primetime game. It would make no sense to do noon, there aren't any other games that would threaten the ratings at any time during the day. However you'd just lose ratings from the west coast.

Week 1 is actually pretty decent from a TV ratings standpoint. Either way, OSU vs. Texas is likely going to go up against one of Bama vs. FSU or Clemson vs. LSU (unless the OSU vs. Texas game is a 3:30 kickoff which I highly doubt). I'm expecting Cuse vs. Tenn to be the 3:30 SEC on ABC game. Other notable week 1 games were pushed off Saturday (thankfully). ND vs. Miami and TCU vs. UNC.

Clemson LSU won't be noon, but I'm not so sure Bama/FSU is going to have the mass appeal it might have a year ago. I'd be more concerned missing out on western time zone ratings than people trying to watch any of the other games outside of Clemson/LSU.

I think Bama vs. FSU will likely top 7+ million. I think Clemson vs. LSU could do more than that, if it's not opposite OSU vs. Texas, which I don't think it will be. My guess is that is the 7:30 ABC game. I'm not sure catering to a West Coast audience makes a ton of sense, in general. I'd be more worried about avoiding Bama vs. FSU and Clemson vs. LSU. But I'm not sure it's avoidable. I think one of those games has to be played at Noon, according to the SEC contract.

I feel like a lot of non-Bama/FSU viewers would easily prefer switching to OSU/Texas, so they're not losing out on much there. Clemson/LSU will definitely draw a big number but again, those two games won't be lined up at the same time. Otherwise, there's really no threat to the viewership since it's very possibly a 1 vs 2 matchup.

I don't think so either, unless Fox puts the game in primetime. Alot of non Bama/FSU viewers will tune into OSU/TX instead of that one, but Bama draws huge numbers on their own (as does OSU obviously). I honestly can't remember the last time OSU and Bama played at the same time, in a game of significance. It'll be interesting to monitor.

it's labor day weekend.. they putting all those games on Saturday??!

ND vs. Miami is Sunday night. TCU vs. UNC is Monday night. Everything else is Saturday.

My dream scenario would be Bama/FSU at noon (they don't deserve a better spot, let's be honest), OSU/UT at 3:30 and then Clemson/LSU at night. I doubt that happens but it would be ideal.
