Right. Credit FOR winning a super bowl. I thought
@ericd7633 was being sarcastic in their chase for a Super Bowl win this year; IE giving Patricia credit for that and sarcastically saying "He was pretty fucking terrible in Philly last year." <- IE winning a super bowl.
I didn't realize he wasn't still on staff. I was attempting to suggest that even if you gave him credit for being on a super bowl team how you could possibly filter out the effect of an assistant on staff.
It's now even worse not because I value his time as an assistant any more or less, it's that any shred of credit I was open to giving him was entirely removed when Eric pointed out he wasn't on staff this year.
Since leaving the Patriots as DC, he's been fired by the Lions for sucking, not hired by a single team as DC, and apparently (news to me) was simply not renewed last year as a playcaller by Philly, and then the very next year their defense was awesome and they won the super bowl. LOL Now that's some hilarious shit.
