y'all still suck but on the real.. happy for both of y'all..his family house burned down recently and y'all took care of it, plus a nice NIL deal. Great to see him show loyalty for a program that was willing to do that for him in his time of need..

I remember a preacher talking about church membership increasing. Something like “Often a church won’t have any blessed additions until it has some blessed subtractions.”

Question for those of you that understand this better than this old fart. While most are dealing with filling put a roster, I read where some schools that have been aggressive in the portal and HS recruiting are now concerned about roster limits. (I’ll see if I can find it again.). I’m guessing there are deadline dates or windows for all the movement and roster cutting. When are those?

Not sure. But what I do know is that a good portion of OU's outgoing offensive players might have not had much encouragement to stay....financial or otherwise.

Bold gamble sending production packing...let's see if it works out for them?

Yep. Teams know who they really aren't upset about losing for sure.

I'm not really against players moving but the timing of things is nuts. That said, there may not be a good answer considering other deadlines like enrolling/beginning semesters, etc.

I believe April 7 is the deadline

ahhh yes.. leave so better players can come through the portal.. that always works.. biggest addition so far is Burks staying..
