Leading scorer on the 7th place team in the CAA. Ideally he would be someone that comes off the bench. But he's probably starting based on what the roster looks like at this point.

Gophers need bodies at guard, considering it's just a one year player, I like the pick up. Good defender as well

Matt Bradley from Cal is in the portal. Averaged 18 a game for the Bears

Brady Manek into the portal

Great spot for him I think. Would have loved if him/Shaka wanted him to be a role player for 1 more year here. But this is the best chance for him to be able to be a main guy and he should do really well in that league.

Welp. Looking like an entirely different team for next season. I'm not sure pulling in grad transfers from bad teams is the best route to go, but we have a ton of holes to fill in the roster next season. This is looking like it could be worse than the 15-16 team. Hope Johnson can land some of the high recruits from MN in the 2022 class or he's not going to make it past year 4.

Wonder where Robbins will end up. He's going to have alot of options I'd guess.

Do you have anyone left ?

I've seen one player confirm he is staying and that was Isaiah Ihnen who avg a whopping 2.8 ppg last season. Brandon Johnson hasn't said anything yet, but I can't imagine he's staying either.

We might be worse than Arkansas Pine Bluff next year

It is going to get ugly. As erratic as Carr was at times last year, this dude from W&M isn't close to the player Carr was. EJ Stephens put up 16 a game strictly against PL competition and Battle is probably similar to Brandon Johnson, so a solid contributor. I have no fucking clue how we are going to fill out a roster.

i was never expecting much for next year, I was hopping to keep robbins/gabe/Mash (i knew was unlikely) and johnson elect to use his free year.

But we'll see

I wasn't expecting all that much either, but I didn't think it would look this absolute grim either. I didn't think there'd be this mass exodus. We've had 9 guys enter the portal in like the last 4 months. Picking up mid majors is good for depth purposes but being reliant on them, and them alone is not a recipe for success. But maybe this is just a one off. It is concerning he hasn't even hired anyone to his staff yet. At least to my knowledge. Like, what's the hold up on that front?

on KFAN he said hirings should be announced soon, I think he's got guys in mind, just ironing out details

Gabe isn't 100% gone either, he may elect to come back, not sure on Robbins.

I'm hopefully we can get Race Thompson committed (Ben met with family on zoom last night) and positive momentum/news too

That's good news. It just seems like it's taking an unusually long time to hire assistants.

I know Gabe isn't 100% out the door. I do hope he stays, even with as much shit as I've given him about his shooting. He can be a nice bridge guy intonth future hopefully.

I'm hopeful about Thompson as well. At least he's been productive against high level competition.

Totally forgot the Gophs still have Gach though!!!
