Trash Talk ‘22: RRSO

I just saw the craziest thing, PFF ranks Texas as the best rushing offense in the Big 12 and dead last in run blocking. I know before the WV game Bijan was leading the nation in yards after contact. Bijan’s numbers would be insane behind an OL that could actually run block

Another fun stat, PFF had the average yards before contact for Bijan vs Bama at -0.9 yards.
yeah.. it's amazing to see how he can make positive yards after getting hit behind the line

You can throw the records out in this game. OU fans already forget 2020 when OU started off 0-2 in conference(lost to Ksu and Isu) and then never lost again and won the Big 12 and beat Florida in the bowl game. Everyone sure thought the sky was falling then lol. It's a long season.

Interesting thing is that, that year, despite Oklahoma being unranked from losing every conference game and Texas being ranked, Oklahoma was still the betting favorite at -3 that year.

Unless I overlooked a year, this year will be the first time since 2006 that Texas is the betting favorite. Very sad, the current state of Oklahoma football that has allowed this to happen. :(

When all said and done, who did we waste more: Bijan or Jermichael?

The analogy I use is the Riley Regime was like someone eating a poor diet and eventually getting diabetes. OU was living off that super sweet offense but the program was getting worse, gradually, until something serious happened. We found ourselves in the emergency room. And now we are paying the price for years of bad recruiting and poor defensive coaching in spite of that sugar high we were constantly living with going to the playoffs and winning conference championships. Was it worth it? Well, no, now when we look back it probably wasn't because we were doing a lot of things the wrong way and it finally caught up with us just as we are on the verge of moving to the SEC. It's gonna be hard to recover from years of not doing the right thing. We're in survival mode right now. The recovery is going to take some time and "Dr" Brent Venables has his work cut out for him.

He's more open than Will Smith's marriage.

I am dead!

For my college Pickems, if ewers plays got to go UT right, If he doesn’t OU?
I mean UT lost to Tech. Would have to think OU can score on them and Card won’t be able to keep up?

maybe if DG plays and they go for it on 4th downs no matter where they are on the field.. mix in a couple of look the other way OL holding and they have the tech blueprint

Wait.. OU has a QB named General Booty???
