OU quarterback Dillon Gabriel did go to class Monday and he is following the concussion protocol but insiders expect backup Davis Beville to start against Texas unless something unforeseen takes place. He’s the three-star transfer from Pitt. OU coach Brent Venables knew of him from Greenfield, S.C., because Beville played against his sons when he was coaching at Clemson. Beville has NEVER started a game in college. Take Texas and give the points.

I think DG would play this week if not for the spotlight that the NFL brought with Tua last week.

Still think this will be closer than everyone is saying now. If ou can start off hot, it's going to be a game.

Probably a ten point game if everything is "normal" with Texas winning and if OU doesn't play lights out, it could get ugly. Texas has the best player on the field (Bijan Robinson), Oklahoma can't tackle worth a damn, and OU's QB will likely be having some trouble learning on the job. I still think Sark could fuck up a steel ball with a glass hammer so that's a plus for OU. Texas has lost 4 of these in a row; if the Horns don't beat OU now, when will they beat them?
