Most definitely. When I first got here, there were several Wyndham timeshares. They used to have have the pushy hawkers out on the streets hassling the tourists during the summer/fall. I used to "string them along" but they finally 'got wise' to me and left me alone when they saw me.
But I felt bad for some of the tourists being hounded like that. Especially the elderly. Complaints to the city council fell on deaf ears UNTIL I got my legal eagles involved.
The following year the city council FINALLY banned any active solicitation solicitation in the city. And that was that!
My new nepo baby bitch boss is meeting with a few of us next week.
