Neighborhood kids are zipping up and down the streets on electric scooters going at least 12-15 mph without helmets, elbow or knee pads. One of them is going to get seriously hurt.

Most definitely. When I first got here, there were several Wyndham timeshares. They used to have have the pushy hawkers out on the streets hassling the tourists during the summer/fall. I used to "string them along" but they finally 'got wise' to me and left me alone when they saw me. :biggrin:

But I felt bad for some of the tourists being hounded like that. Especially the elderly. Complaints to the city council fell on deaf ears UNTIL I got my legal eagles involved.
The following year the city council FINALLY banned any active solicitation solicitation in the city. And that was that! :martini:
