For that to have happened, your daughter must've gone through some shit (courts don't award full physical and legal custody to a father, otherwise), and I'm really sorry for her. At the same time, I'm also happy for both of you, and I wish the very best for y'all moving forward.
(It took years, but my brother finally got full physical and legal custody of his kids. This was after the courts initially gave full custody to his ex (she lied, and lied, and lied during the divorce, and it took years for the lies to all come to light). In the end, she ended up having all parental rights revoked.)

If you only knew. What helped is we have had the same female judge for the past 2+ years and she saw all the bullshit and excuses. And then events that happened over the past 2 weeks were the last straw.
